Chapter 7 Antibiotics drugs¶

- The definition and nomenclature of antibiotics, the critetia of being medical antibiotics; the classification and applications of antibiotics; the production methods of antibiotics, the biosynthetic process of antibiotics, and the characteristics of antibiotic fermentation production;
- The structural characteristics, physical and chemical properties, and functional mechanism of ??-lactam antibiotics; the fermentation technology and process of penicillin, and the extraction and purification of penicillin;
- Breeding and preservation of cephalosporin C strains, optimization of fermentation process, separation and purification process of cephalosporin C; classification of aminoglycoside antibiotics; streptomycin production strains, fermentation technology and process of streptomycin, extraction and purification of streptomycin.

- Master the principle of extracting penicillin by solvent extraction;
- Master the principle of extracting streptomycin by ion exchange resin method;
- Master the principle of extracting cephalosporin C by precipitation method and ion exchange resin method.
